I crafted alien themed music video for "Planet of Atzsypellb" tune recently. As anyone who has done AI stuff knows, coming up with generative AI visuals isn't exactly hard nor demanding these days. Be it video or still images. All you need to do is create good enough descriptions for what you are after, finetune, and the more precise and defined descriptions you do, the closer to your imagined visuals you get.
Well, I thought already during summer about "alien themed music video" for some Scumfusion tune. Grey aliens especially. Grey aliens with menacing and/or mysterious enough outlook / facial expressions, and make em play metal music, how else. Space theme naturally, and as time passed I noticed that the idea kind of fits (in my mind anyway) "Planet of Atzsypellb" tune pretty good - I could create some visuals about imagined planet A itself as well as aliens playing the tune. The idea was rather straightforward anyway.
In the end I crafted some 30-40 video clips for the idea, aliens playing guitar, bass, drums, singing. Not all of it was used, some clips weren't fitting enough - but most of the visuals were fitting indeed, and some of it very well fitting. The biggest work wasn't in defining AI art, but syncing the video clips with the actual Scumfusion tune in at least somewhat belieavable way. Vocals took especially more work, some drum clips were pretty easy on the opposite - I managed to get some bass/guitar clips okayish in how the look / feel with music, but there are guitar clips where the fretwork of course has nothing at all to do with the riffs in the song. That said, overall I am quite happy how this came out.
