Harvester of planets

Here's new musicvideo for one song taken from "Lost constellations".

Use full screen and full HD to get maximum angle out of some scifi grind. Since you can't seem to adjust that in embedded video (below), here's direct URL for the video at youtube:

Few words from Timo

Hey all,

I thought I could add few words regarding the recording and release of our latest opus "Lost constellations".

The release date kept getting delayed from day one, and the entire recording process took us something like 10 months, I think. Most of the delays occurred because of work related issues, and life in general. Too many things going on, I guess. Anyway, in January, we initially thought the release date would be somewhere around June, so I think we managed to raise the tempo in the end - if only just a little.

It's funny how some of the most difficult trials during the whole process happened in the end, during mastering. Some of my trusted software refused to work properly, so I had to resort to a couple of plan B's. Luckily those worked out nicely, and I actually learned something from the ordeal (and when does one not do exactly that?). Therefore, I could say it was worth the fight.

Antti was quick as usual with delivering the cover art and all the paraphernalia, and I honestly think the whole package looks and sounds great. There are some truly great moments and riffs and other details in there that made all this worthwhile.

Anyway, I hope you like it as much as we do. Enjoy the "Lost constellations"!

Cheers,

Timo

If you wanna take a look at the front cover art right now, you can see it here at Flickr. Here's the tracklisting once more, this time with individual tracks lengths shown.

So, ... all there's left to say for now: Enjoy!

... and it's third times charm.

Yeah, the second master didn't make the cut either. The fixes that were done were both great, but this time technical problems destroyed this second master version. Pointless to explain it in detail, but let's just say that it was unbearable, same problem appeared in every song (!).

So, third master is on its' way and we'll see whether the old saying of "third times charm" works here.

EDIT: To be precise the technical problems with master v2 don't make the next version third one since there were just technical problems. Yeah. But guess what? After those problems got sorted out, we still found real problems from the master v2. One transition problem and one mixing problem of sorts. It looks like they should be fixed tomorrow - depends pretty much on Timo's schedule. Anyway, that means that it really turned into a case of "third times charm".
